My Thought's After Reading... This

Hi guys. It’s been an emotional day for me. Why? Because of this book.

Someone recommended it to me a long time ago but I didn’t took notice of it. But when I saw the book at Popular (or is it MPH?) at NU Central, I thought, ‘why not? It might be good.’

So I read it and finished it in 2 days.

My thoughts?

Heartbreaking. There were times when my tears are about to fall and my sobs about to break but I hold it. This book is written in 2 perspectives, Clay's and Hannah's. (Don’t worry, no spoiler) When it comes to Hannah’s part, I’m not just reading it in my mind, I’m reading it aloud. That is when I could feel all kinds of emotion going through me. I’m not going to tell what the book is about, if you want to know, go and buy it or listen to the audio book. What I’m going to tell is my after thought.

I can’t help but remember about Amanda Todd. If you don’t know about her, here’s a quick info – She’s a Canadian girl that committed suicide at the age of 15 due to cyber bullying. You know, people think that bullying is... a small matter? Something that can be looked over? I don’t know the right words to describe it.

But let me ask you, when people say things about you (more accurately, bad things), what is your reaction? Angry? Sad? Embarrassed? Or you just didn’t care about it? Well, let me tell you what it feels for me.

It HURTS. When you know it’s not true. But that’s life. You can’t control what people say. You can only control your actions. How you deal with it.

That’s why, guys, please, when you say something, think about how it will affect the person you intended that word for. Words can hurt and heal. But most of the time, it hurts.

Okay, I’m not going to end this post with a bitter feel so here you go, my dance mood song to cheer up the mood. (^  ^)
